So… if the Dos Equis man is the Most Interesting Man in the World, then it’s not even close that the man you see in the video above is The Most Charming Man in the World.
Hands down. Point blank. Period.
BTW, you can’t watch this and not laugh. It’s physically impossible.
Paladin is an Internet-veteran turned tech-savvy Realtor. Follow him on Google+ or Twitter.
In putting together an email for a friend, I thought I’d compile this collection of the musically gifted for future reference. It began after I saw the special about Derek Paravicini.
Enjoy and share! Let me know if I need to add more. In no particular order…
Michael Hedges – Aerial Boundaries
Groove – Victor Wooten
Les Claypool Bass Solo
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones – The Sinister Minister
After posting about Jake Barnett, I went looking for a video that I thought I had posted on 21st Century Paladin years ago but couldn’t find it. Something ate it. I’m positive.
But I’ve re-found it and here it is–one of the most impressive musical minds ever. Derek Paravicini is a true gem.
They always say the best make it look easy. This guy is ridiculous! Seriously? No video editing?!? ARE YOU SURE???
As a poor white boy who used to break to everything from Planet Rock by Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force to Jam On It by Newcleus, we used to watch Electric Boogaloo I and II to try and learn new stuff. I have NEVER seen a dancer so unreal as Marquese.
I’ve already watched this 4 times… going back for more. (H/T to Lewis at LimeWedge.net)
All this pain
I wonder if I’ll ever find my way
I wonder if my life could really change at all
All this earth
Could all that is lost ever be found
Could a garden come up from this ground at all
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
All around
Hope is springing up from this old ground
Out of chaos life is being found in You
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
You make me new, You are making me new
You make me new, You are making me new
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us
The best part is that they’re using their fame, their money, their everything to help people who are in dire need. There is hope and these guys are pointing in the right direction. Bravo!
So, this Shimmon cat can play that xylophone, huh? Programmed with styles from jazz musicians and a level of variance, Shimmon can create previously impossible accompaniment.
Now, he just needs some dark glasses and a derby hat.
