  1. Looking in on ‘Star Wars: The Force Unleashed’
Star Wars games can be horribly wrong or splendidly wonderful. It all depends on their primary goal—money or quality.
  2. Review: Apple TV Does Movie Rentals
Uh oh Netflix… don’t look now, but Apple wants to make things easier. Imagine that.
  3. Kurzweil: ‘Exponential’ change ahead for games, people
Futurists don’t have the best track-record but it’s certainly an interesting read.
  4. GDC08: Imported Rock Band music possible in sequels
Rock Band sequel confirmed. That’s a big 10-4 good buddy. In other news, the latest DLC is Nine Inch Nails, if you’re into that kinda thing. Oh yeah, one more RB tidbit: the Still Alive song from Orange Box is now confirmed to be available for Rock Band. I’m guessing it’s on XBox Marketplace but haven’t seen it myself.
  5. Human Rights Group Calls for Releasing Pro-Life Cuban Doctor Oscar Biscet
“Cuba, on the other hand, legalized abortion 40 years ago and it has become a method of contraception.” Not just a method, but some say the country’s #1 method. Tragic.

  • Apple wants to make it easier and charge you through the nose (imagine that).

$4.00 a movie!? I’ve had that price gouging for years with Comcast OnDemand, and I didn’t have to buy my own box.

I’ll stick with Netflix. Incidentally, they’re also also developing their own set top box.

  • I love Netflix. Sweet news about their box.
