U.S. Goes to 35-0 in Olympic Qualifiers

So while the Americans haven’t lost a game in the last 35 when qualifying for Olympic play, they also haven’t won gold in their last three marquee events: 2004 Olympics, 2002 and 2006 World Championships.

That’s something that just shouldn’t be.

I think the players understand this. But are they willing to put in the time/energy necessary to get the job done this time around? We’ll just have to see.

Oh yeah, they demolished Puerto Rico 135-91.
