  1. Company develops virtual meal technology
I can’t decide if this is more a) cool or b) sad.
  2. 12 ideas to keep off holiday pounds from a guy who knows our food triggers
My favorite: “Sit next to the slowest eater at the table and use that person to pace yourself. Always be the last one to start eating, and set your fork down after every bite.” Nothing like anti-competitive eating to liven up an event!
  3. Card From ’53 Still Exchanged by Friends
Our family exchanges a pecan log. I’m not kidding.
  4. Wii-diculous – Playing the Wii in a Movie Theater
So you thought you had a big screen TV.
  5. Dogma Without God, Fallen angels assault heaven at Christmas
Despite the claims of many, there is an underlying anti-Christianity sentiment in many Americans today. These are usually the same people whose mantra is “Do not discriminate or oppress” while they carry-on doing exactly that.

  • I normally have a smart-ass response to stuff like the virtual meal, but how cool is it that we might be able to keep a personal connection with family or friends in nursing homes and what-not who normally feel alone and alienated by their loved-ones? My grandmother is in a home and we feel guilty about having to place her there, but the burden to care for her became too great (Alzheimer’s). I would love to dial up dinner with her from time-to-time to keep her company.

Technology can, indeed, be our friend. Now, just make this nursing home friendly and cheap and we’re set!

  • I hear you Jason. There are so many cool things that we can do these days because technology has been so very inventive.

Sometimes I stand in wonder that cell phones actually work.
