Survivor: Cook Islands – Week 5
Very close challenge this time around. Loved the effort by both tribes, it just wasn’t meant to be for Raro. Becky made up a lot of ground at the end for Aitu.
Voted Off
Kind of interesting how Raro forgot that last week, everyone voted JP off except Nathan, but no one talked about Nathan being someone they couldn’t trust. Guess his people skills are better than I thought. CBS did a number on us by editing out all the negative Stephanie stuff but keeping all the negative Christina comments. Looks like they wanted us surprised more than anything else. Tribes are back to even numbers as the game move on!

Marketing Is About Good Ideas
Coudal is not a company you can easily classify. And why should they be? Good ideas don’t have to be limited to one genre or field. Here they working on a local promotion that’s sure to reach farther than the shores of Lake Michigan. I’m not even a Bears fan (though I love my Bear) and I want one of these.
Massive ‘Lost’ Quiz Woven with Symbolism

Consider yourself a Lost enthusiast? Perhaps. I thought I was too, until this Lost Quiz showed me just how much I didn’t know. This is the most thought-provoking show since the original Matrix, with symbolism and philosophy woven throughout. This quiz highlights some of those hidden aspects.
(I answered 9 of the first 16 correct, then proceeded to bomb out the remainder of the quiz.)

I didn’t really think much of Mike Gallagher… until this. More than any other groups of people on earth, those that do evil in the name of God will not receive mercy when they stand before him. Survivor: Cook Islands – Week 4
Kinda boring episode as Aitu bounces back and beats Raro in a close challenge. Ozzy quit sulking and utilized his strongest asset—fishing—to gain favor in the eyes of his tribemates. If I were him, I’d be distancing himself from Cao Boi and trying to get in good with Yul, the obvious leader of this tribe. Cao Boi is annoying and is likely the first to go once Aitu loses a challenge.
Voted Off
Not bloody likely that voting off J.P. will help Raro in their upcoming challenges, but it was clearly the best move for the women on the tribe.

This effort was started by a group called Declare Yourself, which the article states is non-partisan. Uh huh. Started by Norman Lear, a long-time Hollywood elitist who’s worked towards liberal ends for years, including his support of the grand misnomer—PFAW—who’s about as one-sided as it could possibly be. It’s clear the Democrats are losing the battle of ideas but they can still try and send salespeople to buy the youth-set.
Misleading Marketing for ‘Plan B’
Women everywhere should know the whole truth about the new Plan B drug, Levonorgestrel. The following is a quote from the FRC:
Dr. Stanford told a Utah newspaper that instead of preventing pregnancy 89% of the time, it is “effective only 72% of the time, and even that number is optimistic.” Furthermore, the claim that greater access to “emergency contraception” will reduce abortion is also false. Studies show that in Scotland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and China greater access to Plan B has reduced neither abortion rates nor STD rates. [link]

Survivor: Cook Islands – Week 3
Thanks to the powers of Innertube, I was able to just now watch the Week 3 episode I missed on Thursday. This kind of thing makes so much sense, why has it taken 10 years for broadcast companies to find this strategy?
So the tribes were “blended” and the new tribes fall out like:
Aitu

Clearly Aitu is the weaker of the two tribes, even with the class act Yul, and the first challenge showcased this fact. I was surprised just how much power Cao Boi commanded after the tribes merged. Lucky for him, he saw the wisdom of joining the larger of the two alliances and now Ozzy is the odd-man-out.
Raro

Raro seems much more unified as a tribe and with the strongest male contingent, they’ll be favorites to win the physical challenges going forward. With all the emphasis on the Aitu tribe, I’m guessing they’ll be heading to more Tribal Councils in the near term.
