Pistons Get Past LeBron’s Cavs
It was much tougher than anyone thought. The Pistons advancing, that is. The truly memorable thing about this series was just how amazing LeBron James is, this early in his career.
- Cleveland has the weakest supporting cast of any NBA superstar whose team made the playoffs.
- Like Jordan before him, other teams focus on James first with double-teams and more.
- And LeBron gets 31/8/6 even still.
I’m very interested to see what Cleveland does in the off-season to get James some help. Hughes, Ilgauskas and Marshall just isn’t enough.
For the Pistons, Kentucky grad Tayshuan Prince went 18/5/3 in the series with the most minutes of any Piston. All while drawing the toughest defensive responsibility—guarding LeBron James. Way to go Tay!

We just saw LeBron go through some necesary playoff growing pains. In 2-3 years, holy crap!
And yeah, watching Prince do his thing was great.
Yea, but my heat nipped the pistons on their home court tonight!
Yep. I think Detroit might be out of gas. Get it? Gas? Cars? Motor city?!? Ok, I’ll shut up now.
