Pa. Awaits Intelligent Design Ruling
School have been allowed to teach the theory of evolution for decades. But lately the theory of intelligent design has been banned. How this isn’t indoctrination, I’ll never know. At least everyone is being civil about it, um scratch that… one professor was assaulted in Kansas for planning a course on the topic. What happened to open open and honest debate on the issues?
Glory Road Misses the Boat on a Couple Points
Bob Tallent, a player on Kentucky’s famed Rupp’s Runts, has seen the movie Glory Road and has only a couple of inaccuracies with Jerry Bruckheimer’s film.

Actually the Kansas professor who was “attacked”, planned on teaching this class in such a way to discredit creationism and bash Christians. And upon further review, the police are rather suspicious of his story of being attacked (he actually claimed that he was attacked by Christians!!)
If that’s true, those “Christians” weren’t acting very Christ-like.
Somebody over at foxnews.com needs to work on their titles. But if I had read more thoroughly I would have seen:
“Mirecki had referred to religious conservatives as “fundies,” and said a course describing intelligent design as mythology would be a “nice slap in their big fat face.” He has apologized for those comments.”
