Survivor Guatamala: Week 6
Whoa! Technical site problems have plagued the Paladin’s Dojo for over a month. Now it’s time to get back on the horse and attend the business at hand. Of course that means reality TV. No Doi.
So, on Survivor Guatamala the players have been shuffled, reshuffled and mixed like a martini. Let’s recap.
Nakum
Cindy has been playing it low-key, which is smart. In fact, it’s Survivor 101 but sooOOooo many players forget this prime directive. Her Vegas odds must be quite low.
Jamie, a Yaxha transplant along with Stephanie buddied up with Judd to sway the balance of power to his side. Smart move. And I think he wants to kiss Bobby Jon.
What can you say about Judd? The guy’s a mess, a freak and non-stop chatterbox. Someone needs to stuff a sock in his mouth then apply the duct tape, but I’m afraid that might not even work. He can’t last much longer.
After being up for the boot, Lydia has flown under the radar for a couple weeks. American’s favorite fishmonger is working it overtime to move on.
Playing smart so far, Rafe is friendly and not intimidating—a brilliant strategy. We’ll have to see if he’s built any strong alliances because to date, it doesn’t really look like it.
The queen of bad luck is still hangin’ tough. Being part of the majority in Nakum should have Steph on for a couple more weeks.
Yaxha
Amy’s bionic ankle and gritty determination is keeping her head above water. Maybe she’s paying people off, but more likely she’s called in a few favors with the local law inforcement.
Am I the only thing who thinks the show writes Bobby Jon’s lines? They seem to staged and cheesy. And here I used to like the guy. Now I’m not so sure. But look for him and Brandon to be best buds before much longer, they just have too much in common.
Brandon is hanging tough and hasn’t really pissed anyone off. I’m shocked.
The toughest of the women, besides Steph, of course, Danni can hang with the fellas and still get along with the women. Good skills to have in this game. She could go far.
Gary has done well to hide his athletic ability. He even sat out of that challenge where they were throwing axes at ceramic plates. He’s playing the game smart, but it may not be enough if everyone agrees that he really did play in the NFL. Very little bothers the working class like someone with money.
So checking the standings over at Fantasy Survivor, I just made a strong move up to #5 but major props go out to the Cyclonic Survivor, who’s blowing away the competition. Get it? Cyclone? Blowing? Ok, I’ll stop now.
Losing my MVP Margaret hurt so I think this contest is Cyclonic’s to lose. Good luck to everyone who’s playing!
