Injustice and Hollywood Elite

I have no problem stating that the People’s Choice Awards are more relavant than the Oscars. They should also be more esteemed since much of what goes into the ballotting and subsequent “voting” is subject to the kind of political manuerving that would make Illinois Democrats proud.

Case in point, Pulp Fiction. Before last night, I had never seen it. Now I wish I was still that pure. There must have a been a full-scale, behind-the-scenes campaign to market it as a good film because it certainly wasn’t. A large number of well-known and/or accomplished actors does not by association a good film make.

Pulp Fiction is one of the worst movies of all time.

Maybe Quentin threw around a few “gifts”? Perhaps Travolta and Willis called in a couple of “favors”? In any event, this disjointed, love-affair-with-violence is certainly not a great movie and it is unjust to call it one. Sure there can be differences of opinion but this ranks up there with The English Patient. No matter how many critics fawn over a film, don’t be deceived… they may just have an agenda.

  • movie blew. what a disappointment. good soundtrack though. unfortunately, good music can’t erase the stains of the visuals from my head.

  • I get it now – it’s a Christian website. It all makes sence.

  • I compleately dis agree, pulp fiction is deffinately one of the best films of our time,
It is truly deserving of the classic title it has been given and I for one love it,
what exactly about the film did you dislike, because i thought it was out of this world!

  • Personally, I don’t find humor in violence and I think Tarantino pushes that concept. But to each their own, I guess.

  • pulp fiction is easily the best movie of the last 100 years and i cant wait to do a remake with even more violent seens

  • whoever wrote that Pulp Fiction was a bad movie is obviously a fool i stumbled upon this website and read these stupid words about Pulp Fiction. I personally think it’s one of the greatest movies i have ever seen and I have seen just about every movie you can name. so christian or not you don’t know anything about movies!

  • there is a religeous sense to this movie you just have to watch it and you’ll understand. i think Tarantino was preaching and blaspheming in the film. this is easily the best film out there

  • No posts in months then two vocal dissenters in the same day? I think brian and james might be friends.
