The Economy Is Improving

I still notice a lot of mixed message out there.

1. The economy still stinks because of Iraq.
2. There never was a recession.
3. The economy must be bad if people can’t get a job.

Looking at the numbers: durable goods sales rose, consumer confidence numbers are improving, and projected car sales for 2004 look good. So it’s not just Bush who says that the economy showing signs of life. That’s to say nothing of the jump in the markets since March. Obviously this is good news for all of us.
