Isn’t medical technology amazing? Who would have thought that they could actually perform surgery on a baby with spina bifida still inside the mother? That baby is now 4 years old. His name is Samuel Armas and the photograph of his tiny hand coming through the surgical opening won photographer, Michael Clancy, world-wide acclaim. Medical breakthroughs like these never cease to amaze me.
