Ship Me To Dallas

Real life is stranger than fiction. Today we find that Charles McKinley had himself shipped from New York to Dallas. He thought it would save him some money. Sadly, it didn’t… just a spot on the Today show. Authorities think he had help getting loaded into the box. Gee, you think so?

Boom Goes the Job Market

An article by Business 2.0 is predicting an upcoming job boom. I’d love to tell you more about the article but all their site displays is a teaser paragraph with the rest hidden behind registration. Yet, I’m so intrigued that I might actually purchase a copy of the magazine. The Internet has made me a cheapskate.

Eat More Fish

Posted a couple of weeks ago about the health benefits of omega-3 oils and the evidence just keeps coming in. A French study shows that eating fish twice a week lowers average heart rates, which corresponds to a lower risk of heart attacks. Red Lobster, Captain D’s and Long John Silver’s stocks are sure to rise.

Same Message, Different Package

0718003586.01.THUMBZZZ.jpgA publisher in Tennessee has taken the New Testament and “repackaged” it in a magazine format called Revolve. Some folks are saying it takes away from the dignity of the Word of God. What do you think?

Productivity Inducing Freedom

This CNN story states that “new information” and “communication technologies” are behind America’s winning productivity ways. But I wonder where all those technologies would come from if America didn’t give its citizens the freedom to invent and develop them?
