Dream Doesn’t Die for ‘Oldest’ College QB

Sport fans know Jim Valvano’s “Never give up” quote but it should apply to attitudes outside of the sporting world as well. In this story, Tom Fox was 30-years-old when he decided he wanted to play college football. Most people would pass it off as another “thing” we’d never do. But Fox never gave up and is now 34 and a third-year quarterback at a Division III school in Illinois. Even though he hasn’t made headlines or grand success, he has followed through and made an implausible dream come true.
