On Second Thought, We’re Safe from Asteroids

Should scientists be allowed to say something is true, if it’s really only their best guess? A while back they said a kilometer-wide asteroid was going to strike Earth in 2014 and wreck all kinds of havoc. Now it looks more like a 1-in-2.2 million chance. Are these the same guys talking about global warming and the ozone layer? I can’t say I’m not greatful though.
